Committees & Organisations
Great Witley and Hillhampton holds a wealth of Committees and Organisations, all of which are commended for the outstanding work they continue to provide for the benefit of the community.
Quartergreen Committee
The Quartergreen Committee is a sub-committee of the Village Hall Committee, set up to manage, maintain and develop the Quartergreen area at the rear of the Village Hall, including the multi-sport court and Bowens field, for recreation and leisure for the benefit of Gt Witley & Hillhampton residents. The committee meet on the first Monday in the month, in the Village Hall at 7.30 pm.
The Witleys Oral History Group
A community project to gather together a range of media about our local history, such as stories and memories recorded by local residents, as well as photographs, video and other historical information.
Village Hall Management Committee
The Village Hall Management Committee (also known by the abbreviated Village Hall Committee) answers to the Parish Council and is responsible for day to day management of the hall and environs, including development and maintenance, insurance, bookings etc. and for raising the necessary funds through a range of activities to finance those duties. The committee meets at least every two months but often more frequently to plan or finalise arrangements for community entertainment activities. The Village Hall is always on the lookout for ‘community minded’ people to join the committee and help us keep the village entertained and informed.
If your local organisation doesn't appear in the list below, please let us know by contacting the Communications Team using the Comments and Suggestions form.
