​  SAVE THE BELL- PENSAX


As you may know, The Bell at Pensax closed its doors in the autumn and was put up for sale. A group of local residents got together to try and ensure that The Bell, which has been a pub for over 150 years, re-opens as a pub and vital community venue. So far, this group has secured an ‘ACV’ which classifies the pub as an Asset of Community Value and also started a Facebook Group which can be joined here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/savethebellatpensax
 
It would be a huge help in planning next steps for a possible community bid for The Bell if local residents could take two minutes to complete a short survey by following this link http://bit.ly/savethebell
 
The community has a tight timeframe in which they must indicate if they wish to make an offer for the pub and as such it would be desirable to get responses to the survey by Friday 20 January 2023. The results will be published (at an anonymous level only) and presented at a public meeting where the proposal can be discussed further.
