Please see below for the latest on Superfast Broadband in Great Witley:

Some good news which I wanted to share with you.  I’m currently working with Worcestershire County Council on the Superfast Worcestershire Programme, which is delivering fibre broadband to homes and businesses in Worcestershire.  Just wanted you to be aware that another fibre cabinet, cab number 601,  has just gone live, enabling more residents in the area to get fast fibre broadband if they so wish (they will need to contact their Internet Service Provider to upgrade).  This brings the total number of cabinets deployed on Great Witley exchange to 4, with cabinet numbers 1, 2, 5 and 601 now live.  There is also further deployment planned with 2 more structures in scope to be upgrade to provide fibre broadband, these are cabinet numbers 3 and a Fibre to the premises structure V32. We do expect cabinet number 3 to go live by the end of December 2016.  This is great news for the parish and represents significant investment in the location

Dear Simon

I have the following response for you from Superfast Broadband:

Ot is a fibre to the premise structure, which will serve premises off Great Witley exchange. Unfortunately, it has not yet been fully surveyed and therefore I am unable to confirm which premises will benefit form that structure.

We continue to update our website: http://www.superfastworcestershire.com/cabinet-status where we publicise additional information with expected delivery dates.

I hope this helps?

Many thanks

Hi simon , thanks for the update. I don't know about you but I have no idea which cabinet serves where in Gt Witley, so this is not as useful as would first appear. Can you tell us where these cabinets are? 1,2 5, and 601.
thanks

David

Using our line / postcode checker: http://www.superfastworcestershire.com/#where-when will allow residents and business to find out how they are connected to BT's infrastructure.

This is the easiest way to determine whether they can upgrade to fibre.

Hope it helps?
